Our concern for environmental compliance has become part of ourcorporate culture. Preserving our 66666world for future generations requirescommitment and dedication. We Recycle most of ourscrap wood, which is then used to produce other wood materialsincluding particleboard and fiberboard. We also recycle cardboardcartons, aluminum, and computer paper.Air Qualityfrom our plants is in compliance with EPA regulations.Our automatedfinish process reduces the escape of chemicals into the atmosphere.Employees are trained in finish processes to reduce VOC emissions, andselect products feature a UV finish which reduces atmospheric toxins.
We eliminated coal-burning boilers and replaced them with cleanernatural gas boilers. Our products use Renewable Resources, and we purchase hardwood veneers only from well-managed forests where timber growth exceeds harvested trees. The Longevityand durability of our products will allow their use for many years tocome. We continuously look for ways to improve our manufacturingprocesses and make responsible environmental choices.
